ELBA HOUSE stands proud today as it enters the twenty first Century with self confidence, having reaped the fruits of a solid foundation and 38 long years of hard work and experience since the establishment of its industrial compound in Jordan.
Since 40 years ago,ELBA HOUSE started its production in the industry of prefabricated buildings and steel structures then added a new line for manufacturing of transport vehicles like trailers, low-beds, tippers, tankers and others.

In the late Eighties, ELBA HOUSE introduced a new technology to its steel production lines and joined the industry of petrochemical complexes and oil storage tanks.
As a culmination of its continued efforts to further develop and diversify its industries, ELBA HOUSE finally succeeded in adding yet another production line, the Bus-Body building. The company obtained the necessary know how and expertise for this industry from Auwaerter, a renowned international German firm with a long experience in the field.

Since 1992 onwards, ELBA has been manufacturing Bus-Bodies in accordance with the required specifications of different types of chassis, such as MERCEDES, M.A.N, SCANIA, IVECO, TATA, MITSUBISHI, TOYOTA, VOLVO and others. ELBA adopts the latest state of the art technologies and modern designs in this industry and ensures full compliance with international standards and specifications.

To keep up with the needs of this industry and to provide its customers with after-sale services, ELBA HOUSE established a fully equipped, modern Maintenance Center in order to carry out the needed maintenance work on its produced buses.  Work at this center is carried out under the supervision of a qualified group of engineers and technicians. All spare parts for any of the company's manufactured vehicles are also available at the center.

In 1999, ELBA HOUSE started producing Ambulance Vehicles, on Mercedes, Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Citroen and other chassis , Van and Box Type.

ELBA HOUSE Headquarters and Plant in Amman are erected on a hilly plot of land, with a total area of 100,000 square meters. The constructed area is approximately 50,000 square meters on which stand various office blocks and buildings, used as Factories, warehouses, and other utilities with open yards that are all connected by inner connecting roads.

ELBA HOUSE employs are 1000 Jordanian personnel of all professional categories, among them are over 50 qualified engineers who are all specialized in bus production, development, maintenance, and other related services.

ELBA HOUSE uses the latest state of art technologies to achieve its ambitious industrial goals and to maintain its high standards , which enabled the company to increase its production to (500) units of different types of buses and ambulances .

ELBA HOUSE has obtained ISO 9002 Certificate No. 960576 in January 1999 ,Subsequently, the Quality Management System was upgraded, and ELBA HOUSE became certified to ISO 9001: 2000.

ELBA HOUSE uses latest methods of advanced technology to achieve its goal and to maintain its standards .

Enormous efforts constantly dwelling to develop buses and coaches that complies with the international European standards (EEC and ECE) , as well as the regional gulf standards (GSO) .

 

Optimal Passengers Safety standards in collision and rollover accidents are carefully studied and weighted by our engineering team implementing an accredited European Standards using the finite element analysis software (FEA) and (CAE) tools , thus achieving the requirements that meets European standard (ECE R66)
