Built  in 1976, Elba House factories stand on 100,000 square meter lot of land, located in the Amman suburb of Swaileh at a main junction and crossroad. The total constructed area is 50,000 square meters.

ELBA House has started its industrial production of prefabrication buildings and steel structure before almost three decades. Since 1991 onwards , ELBA House started manufactures and builds bus bodies on different types of Mercedes Benz Chassis , obtaining the Know – How for this industry from Auwaeter , one famous international German Firm with a long experience in the field of bus industry.

To keep up with this huge production it was necessary to avail latest method of advanced  production technology , techniques , special tools , trained qualified human power in all categories ,  expansion in all facility of products , and finally all the financial support needed . All these factors encouraged the company to spread up locally , Middle East Areas , and neighboring countries.

The bus body building process passes through different stages and six production periods including all production facilities determined to assist the whole process.

First Step:  starts with the chassis manufacturing, which is imported from outside CKD (Complete Knocked Down) and assembled due to highly developed techniques.

Second Step: in this stage the body is build by different tubes and steel sections front and rear sections , wheel housing and bumpers are made of  GRP (Glass – Reinforcement Plastic).

Third Step: starts with all electrical installation , paint , interior insulation, windows, windshield , rear panel , passengers doors with luggage compartment doors . All other necessary equipment’s are produced by different factories and departments such as woods, aluminum , glasses and powder coating.

Fourth Step: this step is concerning the bus seats and all accessories needed are manufactured and assembled by the seat factory with assistance of different workshops where seats frame , foam , fabrics , ABS, … , etc and all related parts and accessories to this industry.

Fifth Step: this is the final stage the bus will be subject to complete PDI (Pre – Delivery Inspection) service including full check up and maintenance and final test where it is to be delivered to the stores.

O ne of the important departments in the company is the quality control of production, which has great effort in obtaining the approval on the vehicles produced to be accepted for operation in the market.
