In 1992 ELBA House began to manufacture and assemble bus bodies on different Mercedes Benz Chassis after granting Authorization from Mercedes Benz (DaimlerChrysler) , obtaining the Know – How from Auwaerter , one famous international German Firm with a long experience in the filled of bus industry .

Safety
Elba's main objective is to provide safety measures for both passengers and drivers. Extensive efforts and design techniques were put into effect in order to fulfill this requirement. Furthermore, a rigid sturdy body structure ensures the safety of passengers in case of a rollover accident.
Durability
Elba's buses are built according to such specifications to sustain years of service and extreme weather conditions. Essential body parts like front and rear panels are made of reinforced glass fibers (GRP). Galvanized steel sheets are used to resist rust and corrosion.
